It is a formula which proved an immediate success, and has grown from strength to strength since its inception in 1997. "Why not create a coffee shop and then franchise it?" they thought. However, before setting off on this project, they decided to gain more knowledge about the whole franchising concept itself. What better way to do that than to become franchisees themselves?

The brothers picked two companies and became franchisees. One, the world's largest franchising company from the US, and the second, a mid-sized an Italian name. Five years later, the brothers felt they were equipped with enough experience to launch their own franchising business, and so came Grano Coffee.

Grano Coffee opened its doors to customers on 7 February, 2002. Since then, the name has become synonymous with outstanding beverages and a superb atmosphere.
